Interesting but left or right handed hooks is a little too pedantic for me. Rest of differences though are noted. Would you for instance still be looking for a BMX version with red and blue operating feature parts with an opposite handed hook? Surely not.
The left and right hooks would surely be a throwback from the twin boom K2 Scammell, yet most of those I've seen aren't handed as you would have expected.

Very nice display again Charlie,

I don't recall seeing the orange version in our toyshops when these came out new. So the pick of these for me to add to my yellow and silver examples would be the orange with the clear windows on the cab and crane.

Thanks for another group of variations.

Gotta be an orange truck with a yellow crane on it somewhere.

Yes, I agree and it is probably in the bottom of that barrel Zbret frequents.
To follow on from Joe’s comment it is interesting to note that when they introduced the casting for the Big MX series the first crane boom was still orange on the new casting to accommodate the gear mechanism as Charlie has here with variation 13 before they were changed to red colour to go better with the silver bodies.

Just amazing how many variations there are of this model, recently had these 3 together.
One in the box has a orange/ yellow chassis/cab and a yellow crane, right hand one with an unpainted jib and the prepro model on the left.

Yes I really like it as well, model came with some other trials so maybe they looked at selling like this initially.

Hi Jason,
Very nice group of color trials/prepros. The one with the unpainted boom surely stands out. I like this model especially the early ones with black plastic tires. Cranes were always my favorite.
Thanks for posting the picture.
