An unlisted gpw size normal size is 9x20 or 9x24 but this one is 9.5 x 30 tread.

What an oddball George. I don't recall a Lesney 9.5X30 light GPW, but here it is on your Thames. It does look a bit oversized, so apparently must be quite rare if we have never noticed this one before. Kwakers

Hello Dick, I was sorting the 70a models out from taking photos of issue 1 and 2 and just checking all the others when I noticed this one had bigger wheels. When I measured them with my caliper it was 9.4 so must have lost .1 on the floor by the owner before me.

The diameter of this model's wheels is obviously larger, but if I am not mistaken, the tread count is still 24, not 30. The other model shown in the comparison pictures above has wheels with 20 treads, so it would be interesting to see the smaller and larger 24 tread wheels side by side.
