Matchbox Hovercraft.

Hi all, my son and myself have just started collecting matchbox items from carboot sales. We got a K-22 SRN6 Hovercraft, although the wheels are black the cogged drive wheel is white? This seems odd, the rivets have not been broken and the hovercraft is complete. Was it usual for matchbox to use an odd colour wheel? Thank you for any help.

Welcome to you and your son to the forum.
If you have a read of this thread here with the collections from charliep there may be a reason towards end of post. It looks like charliep has the white wheel in his code 2 and 3 of his listing.
