End of Year Poll

Post by Idris »

Are we going to have an end of year poll this year?
I don't mind running one (again), but I'm concerned that we didn't get the level of participation we needed last year and, if anything, the active hard core of this Site has shrunk even further over the last twelve months.

I haven’t acquired much this past year Hugh so I will be struggling to provide some candidates of my own.

It would still be nice to do something - even if not a poll, perhaps a thread where people show their favourite find of the year?

I agree with the above by DrJeep, but make it a general 'Look Back over the Year' which can then include favourite finds of the Year etc.

I think 'finds of the year' might end up being a bit overwhelming with quantity replacing quality, but I like the idea of 'find of the year' since this will ensure a truly mouthwatering selection of goodies,

Yes, with gift sets, games or collections of catalogues etc, being treated as one item despite having several items within.
