Why can't they leave things alone.

Put the laptop on this morning, differnt layout of my Firefox browser screen, shit, where are the bookmarks listing now...buried behind some silly new icon up in the top right corner, right behind my Microsoft supplied clock widget which on may screens is displayed on top.

So I clicked on the new bookmark listing icon and more rubbish. No longer does my long list of bookmarked pages and ebay shortcuts appear, I have to do more searching. Once found they now appear down the left side of my screen which can be left on permanent display which is not too bad but does reduce the available screen area for viewing ebay pages and this forum.

Moved this to the right side of my screen which helps with viewing ebay etc, but why the hell did they change it. We all get used to where things are or where we have customized things to be where they are. What gives them the right change things (in this case a right F***k Up) meaning I no longer have a very quick access to ebay pages I visit every Day, a couple of times a Day.

Hi Gary.

It really is insane why something like that needs changing. In my opion they have made it more fiddly to use.

Everything you see in the Red oval at left is new. Everything you see in the Red oval over to the right is new. Behind my widget clock in the Red square on the right is the new bookmark icon (just above the '11' of the clock face). I have moved the clock down slightly just so I can see the icon, with it in it's normal place I could not.

Also behind the clock you just see the start and top section of my bookmarks listing which I have left displayable, but even in the example above, you can see how much screen space it uses, even at the maxiumum reduced width.

Is this what other members see with Mozilla Firefox.

Kevin.

because it is a new pricing year had to resign with cable/internet they sent "new "devices so they can track EVERYTHING
now have to unpack and setup, then return last 24mo. model so dont get 2 bills
if you have /can work(dumb )phone it will make it all function for you....see you in 6 hours.......few days

have to keep some of the equipment turned off/unplugged, as 4 yr old grandchild could send stacks of "see mee" photos which print out.

imagine what the hackers can do now...on hard wire it would take tech support 3-4 hours to undo simple malfunctions

This is what my screen looks like... I always leave the clock etc in the bottom right corner.

The new ebay purchase history page gets me, nowhere near as good as the old format.
