Thanks for posting Kevin
The posts about the ‘take home’ policies are a hoot! Loose knicker elastics! Too funny!

Good to see a post from Dave E who contacted me about 12 years ago, he was looking for a 2004 Matchbox memories commemorative card from the Hackney Museum which pictured his Mum, I was only too happy to oblige.

Excellent article and fun reading -- Thanks for posting!!

In the mid 60's they were producing a boxed model every 1/2 second and now they are still producing 2 million models a week!!! And in the USA, they still sell the basic single models packaged for less than one dollar!! Very impressive.

Love the copy of the 1966 pocket catalog -- I still have my childhood version that has the check marks on the side listing as I spent much of my hard earned money back in the day for 1 or 2 models at a time. Fun days!! :D
