Please be aware that a lot of this sellers "rare" pieces are anything but. Most (if not all) are reworked code 3 items.

I know YY's are of minor interest here, but some like 'em!

As I wrote only last week (here), it is unacceptable for Members to make unsupported accusations.YYS4BOB wrote:Please be aware that a lot of this sellers "rare" pieces are anything but. Most (if not all) are reworked code 3 items.

WARNING - Don't place bids to this seller
My purchases arrived today - in simple words: complete dissatisfaction :0/10:
- Flyabout seats repainted in yellow - I have a good one, this was for a friend of mine
- Mercedes standard red seats repainted in matt black
- Peugeot #5 roof swap, badly rivetted and with damaged roof pins to the rear of the body
- several F-boxes fakes copy machine made on white cardboard
- some others with swapped wheels and the most obviously hand-hammered axle ends I've ever seen
or even shorter summary: almost completely scrap !!!
Sellers like him should be banned from ebay. I wrote to him and wait his feedback now
report from MOYBOYZ.
Good enough?

Fine. (I didn't doubt the veracity of your original post for a moment. It's simply the principle of not allowing accusations to be posted without any supporting evidence. Libel applies to blogs/social media/fora and can be very expensive.)YYS4BOB wrote:report from MOYBOYZ.

Re: *WARNING*
I can also confirm Bob's statements - I purchased a YY Crossley listed as an "unusual black base item (should be RAF Blue)"... when the item arrived it was a base swap. Seller ignored all email correspondence through the auction site until I placed a "Return Request" through the auction system, at which point I was offered a refund which duly went through.

Re: *WARNING*
Not for long... sadly by requesting a return through th e system, my item has disappeared from my purchases list and I'm not sure how to leave negative feedback on it nowDiecastmolester wrote:The seller has an impeccable feedback history.
Edit... a check of his seller feedback shows large numbers of items going tot he same buyers over and over... if people have been requesting refunds through the system then, like me, they will be finding themselves unable to leave feedback of any sort.
** Finally found a way to leave feedback by going back through the auction system and selecting "view order details"... this was the only way to find the auction again as it has disappeared from "My Purchases"

Re: *WARNING*
Sadly many 'collectors' don't have a clue about the hobby, they just buy willy-nilly without due diligence. I cannot understand why they do this and its ok on plain, common ordinary models but when start to get higher prices it always pays to do the homework first. I forget how many times this has been said on this site, mine and countless more but buyers are still caught out. It is hard when you only have a photo to go by and its not till it is in your hands that you realise its fake. Then comes the fight that the seller sent a genuine one and the buyer has replaced it with his cheap copy -it basically turns into one pain in the backside.Diecastmolester wrote:The seller has an impeccable feedback history.
I now video anything expensive from opening up the box, to showing the model in detail and anything else so I have proof of what arrive - easy to do on any smart phone. As for the fakers I sometimes wish that I didn't live to far from them
Re: *WARNING*
this is what I have said for years they actively aide these sellers, skate the law and make it difficult to prove or stoptoysnz wrote:Not for long... sadly by requesting a return through th e system, my item has disappeared from my purchases list and I'm not sure how to leave negative feedback on it nowDiecastmolester wrote:The seller has an impeccable feedback history.

first they took away contact to buyers, then hide sellers and contact,(some are near impossible to contact per rules)
give seller multiple names/site to fake sell with(making it difficult to track how many times same item has resold,
absolutely play games with the feedback (see if you neg is there in six months with full details,I always note ebay hand in it)
I video ALL packages !! of late my biggest is damaged in transit...forced to pay seller(your $$) for $50 + insurance Where item could be replaced but seldom get more than $10 without $600 fight
