I was shocked to see that Matchbox has not yet been inducted into the Toy Hall of Fame. It is an iconic brand that everyone I know calls all small die cast vehicles. Well, It's not. Can't see why they need votes Jim when it is known worldwide that it was one of the greatest toys ever produced. Nearly every boy ( and some girls) from that era had a Matchbox car of some sort. They include Pez, My Little Pony etc in their photo which were never as big as Matchbox.

Checking the stats today, they are showing that Matchbox Cars have pulled ahead of the Wiffle Ball- by a bit- in the voting and are now holding second place, still trailing behind those dasterly Pez dispensers !
