I recently displayed some model buses at a local model show (mainly model railways). I made a simple diorama to represent London Transport's famous Chiswick Skid Pan.

Excellent diorama Jason. Great representation of water and those water jets and with the Bus at an angle pressing down on one side's wheels, makes it really look the part.

Attention to detail as Kevin says makes this so good. I can almost hear the engine and squeal of the tyres. Great job.

What a neat diorama, I love the attention to detail.
In the very first image there is a bus about half the length of the others in the upper left hand corner.
Could you please let me know what make this model is an any other detail.

That's excellent Fred! Great job , very nicely modeled and I like how you added a photo of the actual event.

Thanks for all the kind comments. The RT shown in the video is the same one I based my model on, RT1530. This ended up being the very last London RT in stock. In 1970/71 it had been one of ten RTs used as decimalisation trainers, and the blacked out windows at the front of the upper deck show where a projector screen was fitted for this purpose.

The small bus in the corner is a Ford Transit, one of 20 Mark 1 Ford Transits with Strachan bodies bought by London Transport in 1972/3. It's one of my favourite models from the display, so I shouldn't have tucked it away in the corner. It's a white metal kit by Westward models. It had already been built when I bought it - I'm not good at making kits.
