Rather than a silly, that is a very good question and the basis to another thread...Toy and model company names. Just as an example...

METTOY, Metal Toy.
CORGI, A popular dog in Wales.
DINKY TOYS, Said to have come from dinkie...''oh what dinkie toys''.
MATCHBOX, Models that fitted into a matchbox.
SPOT-ON, Models made to a constant spot-on scale.
LLEDO, The founder of the company's name backwards.

It will be interesting to now add the more recent companies such as Vangaurds and Oxford Diecast.

Ghosthunter.

No. The Corgi is simply a Welsh breed of dog, specifically one for use with cattle. (I believe the idea is that they can nip the ankles in order to move the cattle on, but are close enough to the ground to avoid most of the resultant kicks.) I can't remember the last time I saw one in Wales, and I think they are only really popular with Liz.
