Looks like a Ford and/or Mercury product.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Very late 60's Pontiac but I wood go with Joe and look at Fords, possily one of the Ford Fairlanes.
The model is from the 32nd scale clear acetate type bodyshells marketed as a blister, card mounted where you had to supply the running gear and build a chassis from brass components. In the UK these were marketed by the big RIKO model and hobby company out of Hemel Hempstead. It is quite appropiate you have brought this here becuse RIKO were an off-shoot of MOKO (Richard Kohnstam and Moses Kohnstam respectively).

I think Gene is very near the right car.
Here is the back of a 1967 Galaxy 500, 2 door coupe. Ghosthunter.

As I know you like subtleties Kev, thought I'd point out a few
The 1965-1968 Ford Galaxie's were all based on the same platform
65 and 66 models had the blunt nose type grill found on Tim's model - the 1967 had a more pointy nose
The side body line differed slightly on the 65 and 66 as can be seen here
1965 Model https://i1.wp.com/www.curbsideclassic.c ... 500-01.jpgThis seems to be the line we see on Tim's model
1966 modelhttps://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/or ... 09e16c.jpg
The 66 body lower line kicked down then back up over the rear quarter panel
1967 with the more pointed nosehttps://dy98q4zwk7hnp.cloudfront.net/19 ... &w=430&s=1
I miss the days when one could tell what make year and model a car was, with a quick glance.

Re: Anyone know what U.S. Car this is ?
Thank's Gene. It is going to be the car in your first or second link. When Tim's model was new, it was a clear bodyshell with all wheel-arches filled-in and the owner had to cut these out carefully depending on the size of tyre he chooses for the model. Tim's has been cut out creating over sized arches taking away the important part to see the swage line just ahead of the rear arch, was it streight or angled down!
