Found this online today, never saw one myself. Maybe someone remembers these comics.

Fun!! Did it come on a packaging or with a specific product? Or as an advertisement in a magazine?

They have the Fred Bronner identity so I imagine are U.S. specific and are essentially adverts but created as a comic strip adventure.

Here is another that includes a Rolls-Royce, so I like this one... :D

These appeared in comics in the USA in 1969. I am aware of five different ads in this style:

- A Sunday Drive To Watertap Falls
- Rug Rally
- Table-Top Road-Eo
- The Disaster At Anthill Acres
- The Torture Test At Rough Rock

Since they include some of the last 1969 issue regular wheel models but do not feature Superfast models, I suppose they were issued in the spring of 1969 and were quickly discontinued with the introduction of Superfast.

I have those adds framed and hanging on the back of the door into my model room.
I got them from an auction in America years ago.
