Finally, after 50 years

Recall playing with red or white Mustang with my brother in the sixties. Wanted one ever since.

Yes, well done Radar, nice to finally get a car of your dreams. A couple more photos please showing her in all her glory and ask that strange Guy standing next to her to clear off, he detracts from the otherwise fabulous car...

Thanks Ghosty.
Same colour as your 69 SF RR Corniche

As you would know, but for our American friends, Mustang now available RIGHT HAND DRIVE. Consequently sold and distributed by Ford dealers in Australia.

Always wanted a V8 Auto Convertible.

Must've sown the seed with those Red and White RW fastbacks in the sixties. Steve McQueen in BULLIT helped too.

I'll post some more pics - if I can make them acceptable size. The ugly B@@@@@d in the pic is proof of life shot. Or you may think I've simply lifted a pic of the Internet.

  Joking aside, it's nice to see forum members faces, its just that we are normally a very shy race of Humans, but you do look pretty proud of her. You put yourself in as many pictures you like OK!

Haha. You're not the first to say that.

Looking a bit haggard cos I've caught a train and bus to the Ford dealer and arranged insurance enroute. Also completed 8 page predelivery check suggested by the Mustang forum.

But ... it's not red or white, must be a preproduction early release.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

very cool...congrats man!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Congrats Radar! Enjoy!
Now the trick will be NOT racking up a bunch of speeding tickets while putting her through her paces. Maybe the wish should be "Enjoy, but not too much"..... Nah. Go for it!

I can still remember my father test driving a used 65 fastback Mustang in 1969 when I was 7. Unforgettable!
(Unfortunately, our family was growing so we ended up with a 69 Chevy Nomad wagon. An 8 cylinder engine but not in the same league as the Mustang.)

Good luck and enjoy your new toy!
Happy hunting!
