In with some recent Dinky castings I purchased was this small casting which I think is a Mini Dinky, at the moment I am unable to find out what model it is. Does anyone recognise the casting, it is damaged but has never been pressed.

At first glance was thinking from the AMT Pups /Jet Wheels etc casting but don't remember any of the ones I had having opening doors & boot. There might be a tie in with Top Gear by Tri-ang, which had opening doors, bonnet, boot like the Mini Dinky. Dont know of a Top Gear Camaro but the era would be right for the Tri-ang / Dinky buyout in the late 60's . It could be that it is by Mini Dinky but never produced.
you could try over at
http://www.chickluus-fabulous-redlines.com/ there is (or was) a few Tri-ang Top Gear collectors over there who may have more info.
cheers
Si

Hi Si,
Thanks for the info, looks like it could be one that was never produced. There are some pictures on PlanetDiecast that look very similar to the one I have.

Hi Jason.
It looks like model number 37, the Chevrolet Camaro...

No known full production examples, so it seems not to have gone into production, very nice find Jason.

Thankyou very much Ghosty for the help and picture, looks like I will struggle to get a base and parts for this one then.
All the best.
