The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (second edition) lists a highly unlikely model as variation 14-3I: white body, white interior, no roof cross outline, fine GPW. Does any Member have anything even remotely similar?
The AIM's “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983) has an equally curious model listed as variation 14-3a: off-white body, white interior, no roof cross outline, KGPW and crimped axles! Variation 14-3c is also implausible: white body, white interior, roof cross outlines, KSPW. Can any Member shed any more light on either of these? AIM also notes that the 11x45 fine BPW wheels, can be either thick or thin (something we have seen on other models).
Stannard does not list any variations not already catalogued by Nick, and neither does Houghton, although the latter seems to have found a significant number of examples without silver trim. He has separate codes for trimless models otherwise matching Nick's codes 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, and 20!
U.K. Matchbox examined the model in vol. 6 no. 4 (Oct. '82) p142, with a follow-up in vol. 6 no. 5 (Dec. '82) p182. No models not already listed by Nick were identified.
