Took a look into a display case of mine and came upon a problem.
Dry Phoenix weather caused a Fandango model to get annoyed and kick off its hood label!
Now, what to do, do I leave it off or re-attach it? And how would I re-attach this label?

Jason, I would be inclined to leave the label off the model and not try to reglue it.

I agree with Al, better to leave it off. This is one of those models that is often seen with glue bleed to the label and it does not take much environmentally for them to fall off. In my opinion it will probably look better as it is now as opposed to a reattached glue affected label.

You could use photo glue. I don“t know, if you know, what i mean - its a glue, that hold a photo in an album, but one can rub it off easily from paper and all other surfaces.

I agree with Roland, I would a use a low-tack glue from any office or art supplier, rather than lose the label altogether.

My favorite glue for such problems is Elmers School Glue. It dries clear and can be removed with warm water at anytime down the road. Excess glue cleans up easily with warm water on a cotton bud.

Thank you for the comments everyone. For now, I will leave the label off and store it in the model's picture box.
