My 1-75 RW Collection

My intent has been to have an exemplar of each 1-75 RW plus what I consider to be "essential" variants (green 43A, red 75B, etc.). Total holdings up to about 330 - very close to completion with the only missing exemplar being the 15B.
Pardon the reflections - i should have used a non-glare glass...

Very nice collection. I was tempted to say 'Complete Collection' but you told us 15b is missing... :D

In Pre-digital Days of photography, you could have put a 'Polarizing' filter on the Camera's lens to reduce/dampen those reflections, so maybe next time you could just open the cabinet's doors.

Thank you for showing us such a nicely organized collection.

Ghosthunter.

Great to see other people's collections.
I think you are going to have to open those doors for photos so we can see more of the models.
Spotted quite a few HTF ones in your pics.
Thanks for sharing.

Yes - these were taken with the phone - I'll get out the DSLR and open the doors! I feel fortunate to have acquired some pretty decent HTFs - the bigger story is the very accommodating spouse

Thanks for the interest in my little endeavor...here are some better pix. There are gaps waiting for 5D in "Baron of Beef" livery, orange 8E, reverse wrecker 13D (one can hope, right?), 32C in "Aral" livery, and the aforementioned 15B.

There are gaps …. Yep, they'll always be gaps and no matter how you fill them you'll find new gaps - that's the fun!

Hello you say 330 and you would be close to completion of the 1-75 Regular Wheels, I don't think we will ever be complete with these models.

I have about 1200 of them and that is just the Regular Wheel models and I am far from complete with all the different variations, so the hunt is always on.

I am afraid George is very correct on noting that any "Completion" we may feel is adequate today, may not be quite enough when we wake up tomorrow. I have been collecting Lesneys 53 years now with only one major interruption, so unless you are much stronger than George and I, you may soon see the need for perhaps one or two wheel variations of your favorite model. The sickness continues on from there..... :? I do have a spare minty 15B, but sadly it is without its original box.
Your one display with its light background, dark stained sides with fancy trim moldings, AND with its 'Custom' glass shelves is one of the best I have seen. I have to admit that my attention was drawn away from your excellent display of both models and their boxes as I noted what a fine piece of work they were displayed in. Great Craftsmanship along with a fine collection. kwakers
