does anybody know who made this model and what maker it is?

Hi, It's Rob here. Can't tell you who made it but it looks late '50's early '60's Studebaker-ish. Just because it has US Army decals doesn't necessarily mean it was made in the US.

I believe this to be a Barclay. I had a picture of the set that it came with but can't locate it. Also, it is a Citroen. Christian Falkensteiner has several variations pictured on his website.

There has always been some debate about it, but to me the body shape is unmistakable, particularly the roof line with the high mounted rear indicator lights. The front design is obviously different, but that does not deter many Citroën model collectors from adding variations of this model to their collections (including myself). It is also featured in Marten Boersma's Citroën DS model encyclopedia.
