Very happy with this lot, mostly mint a few missing labels and the dragster is very sun faded on top. On display since new. Less than a quid a piece buy now including shipping, and upon arrival there are three mint boxes included for the forklift, fire chief and Freeman Commuter which aren't shown in the auction photo. Well pleased even if only standard stuff. I'm usually a Dinky collector but couldn't pass this lot Up.

These are the auction photo's, now they have arrived I will do some close ups in due course.

Cheers

Great acquisition Dave, the Red 2b Jeep Hot Rod is a good piece and also the 8b Wildcat Dragster may not be sunfaded but may be as a result of the spraying at the factory. I have seen this many times on this model with uneven spraying accompanied by mint labels which would show fading if the body was sunfaded. I have a few examples myself of this model with that same scenario. If you would like to take few photos of the Wildcat we can confirm either way if you would like, thanks for showing these and sharing your great score.

Nice lot Dave. The Wildcat Dragster is particularly prone to sunfade, i have several examples.

That's a nice clean haul Dave, are the small old timers from the Readers Digest set?

I was also going to mention the Red Jeep, don't see too many of those. The 6 (a full set there!), little veteran cars are very crude but very collectible and have been marketed by several companies since their original release in the mid 1980s, a picture of the underside would help identify which versions you have, at the last count I think I had 10 versions of the Rolls-Royce, far to boring and uninteresting to detail them all here...

Close Ups of this lot are below, most are in VNM condition which I was hoping looking at the above photo's.

All round shots are at the link below:

The Wildcat Dragster has as Rob says above very different paint colour depending upon the aspect of the model. Nor sun fade as I originally thought.

They are all in great condition. Nice red interor on the #1 Mod Rod. The #8 Wildcat looks like a sunfade to me. I have a few in variius stages of sunfade not unsimiliar to your example. All in a very nice and inexpensive job lot with 3 boxes thrown in, congratulations. :D
