I am trying to register in the VBD auction site, the register form comes up I fill in all to all the questions, but on birthdate it says mmddyyyy I fill this in correctly as shown 05 13 1937 click register and it keeps coming up and saying the date is in the wrong format.

I have tried it every way I can but each time I get the same message :? :? :? :? :x what am I doing wrong?

Hi George,

I was going to register anyway, so I figured I'd try now to see if it works.

It actually says mm/dd/yyyy... note the slashes. So I think you should enter 05/13/1937, no spaces. I just did it, and now I'm confirmed.

Hello Alan thank you for that bit of information, so simple when you know how, as you said just put in the forward slashes.

I am now registered member :D :D :D

George T. :) :)

Hey, that's not fair. He showed great ingenuity in being able to create emoticons using only a telegraph!
