Nautica canal system
Yesterday I bought some old shop stock of Nautica canal system (never heard of it before).
It is made by the Dutch company Bercolux, this company also made the plastic pieces for the Matchbox build a road sets.
On the boxes are some nice diorama pictures featuring Matchbox models and the streetlights from the build a road sets.
There was also an extension set available with road pieces, the same pieces as the Matchbox build a road sets but in a yellow color.

My boss would have thrown the book at me if I had been caught towing a vehicle like that...
Ghosty.

Alwin I can't help thinking that SF#45 looks so out of place in that image of the box front, I mean why would a Ford Group 6 be associated with the industrious canal look.....very strange indeed. Furthermore, It is not clear on my IPad what colour it is, if anything it looks silver to me, can you give us a closer image?

Your boss would have been sacked by the directors, buying a vehicle like that!GHOSTHUNTER wrote:My boss would have thrown the book at me if I had been caught towing a vehicle like that...![]()

Having thought about it, I seem to recall looking at this as a possible Christmas present for my children when I lived in The Netherlands. (That must have been sometime in the 1990s.) However, i decided that it would simply be too expensive to get enough of it to make an interesting system, so we ended up with Brio instead, and Daddy spent many happy hours building railway systems for his children to ignore.jimgallegos wrote:I really like that, Very nice find.
