New Display Case

I finally decided to add another display case to my Matchbox room. I've always enjoyed working with wood and have built all of my cabinets by hand to date. I still have the front doors to add to this and the shelves which will come as soon as I have more time. It measures 20" deep, 71" wide and 38" tall. Needed something a little larger to display some of the larger items. I am hoping to have it complete by the first of the year and will add pictures as I fill it.

Superb! you clearly have skills and by doing it yourself have probably saved a lot of Money. Are they LED lights in the top facing downwards.

Excellent case, John. Can't wait to see it completed, will certainly hold a couple of models. We would love to see some close-ups of your wall cabinets, also. I am out of room so looking for display ideas in my limited space. Well done!

The LED lights are facing down, I use a rope/tape type product that I really like, I recessed the tape a 1/4 inch so you can't see the lights straight on. I used to be a fan of the halogen puck lights but after losing a model to the heat I swapped everything over to LED's.
