Can you explain why the first model in gold color has also this variation when you are saying it comes from a later version.

If you are only considering 'Superfast' versions then 'Gold' would be first, but the original castings go back to the 'Regular Wheels' period, so the first model then becomes the Aqua-Green version so what you have found is evidence of the Two mold sets in use to produce the castings for this model, or (and this is becoming more probable with recent finds), an old stock 'Long Bar' casting put back into production. I have seen the 'Short Bar' version in all later incarnations of this model including trailers in 'Twin-Packs'.

From the models I can find nearby (have a lot more) found the gold and the red variation.
