Anyone know who made this ?
Anyone know who made this ?
It is just slightly bigger than Matchbox and clockwork, no markings anywhere.

Re: Anyone know who made this ?
It looks like one of the models from the Cleveland Toy Manufacturing Company of London. They were marketed as 'TEENY TOYS' and had a number of cars and comercial vehicles in the range and even a Red double deck Bus. Date wise they are from 1949-50.

No there is not a lot on this company on the net yet. I know someone who has quite a large collection of these models and your little truck certainly looks like it is part of the range. Here are a few more.

Just come across this thread and it has solved a long standing mystery for me. I have had this little lorry sitting on my shelf for many years without ever knowing what is was, who made it, or what went on the back. It is slightly different to the red one - no sidelights on the front wings. Will have a go at making some repro milk churns to complete it.
