Hi all,
Posted some new stuff in other British, so here's the CIJ stuff I picked up recently,
The repro / new CIJ stuff is really lovely, and can be got for silly money now in France, it does seem to have de-valued the real thing though, good if you're buying, not good otherwise?
Superb models these, I didn't want to take them out of the cabinet, so the new ones are the boxed EDF Nuclear transporter, and the blue artic log carrier...

Also another one on the wants list for 20 years, a Quiralu Thompson van to go with the Primagaz I bought in 1992, slow going my Quiralu collection...

There's an alternate decal on the Thompson, might get that in another 20 years! :D

Cheers

Sorry for changing the subject, but you have one of the Dinky Bedford CF Vans in 'TIATSA MODEL CAR MUSEUM' livery, quit hard to find these Days. I visited this museum and was amazed at the different brands Mr Reich had amassed within the 30,000+ collection. I discovered a lot about models from this amazing collection with so many brands I had not heard of before and actually stood by his model Rolls-Royce collection for about an Hour writing down all the models and trying to identify them.

Cheers mate,
Tibor Reich was one of the originators of diecast collecting in the UK, with Mike and Sue Richardson and Cecil Gibson.
The van was available in a few colours, seems to fetch a few bob these days, mine thankfully still has the price ticket from the museum shop.
We shall not see their like again.
Cheers
CW,

What a cute little Mercedes car.

CIJ were not widely available in the UK so you don't see that many at toy fairs and collectors shops. This is where the internet has been a help in sourcing such brands.
