A real Yesteryear y1 Allchin traction engine .
It was built by Foster's in 1936 and it's works number is 14636

This engine was not built by Allchin I'm afraid.
It was built by Foster's in 1936 and it's works number is 14636

It's a fine looking engine.

A good example of design by necessity resulting in a well balance piece of equipment. Nothing on it looks awkward or out of place, just wouldn't fit in my garage...
