Hello everybody! My name is Alwin van Hattem, 32 years old and I'm from The Netherlands.
Lots of familiar names over here, I can see some old friends are active here so good to see you all back and hope everybody is doing well!

Matchbox was/is my passion, always had great fun in collecting, I stopped counting but in the end I had about 15.000 to 20.000 different variations. A few years ago I had to sell most of my collection because the funds and time were needed to look after family members.
Now the dust has settled and I started collecting again. Thought it would be impossible to retrieve my old Matchbox collection so I started collecting mostly what I like and the toys I wanted as a child but never got back then.
I still buy/sell/trade mostly Matchbox models and I'm a regular table holder at the Houten swapmeet in The Netherlands, come over and say hi if you ever visit this swapmeet.

Noticed already lots of interesting topics so enough to read for me by now.

A few members here do indeed visit the Houten swapmeet. Glad you have chosen the VBD forum to indulge your current collection interests and I look forward to some pictures.

Can I advise that you reduse the size of pictures down to around 600 pixels in the 'Paint' programme on your computer first, before posting, this site does not use auto resizing, thank's.
