K-1 Weatherill Hydraulic Shovel Question

Post by oldfart »

I recently received a Weatherill Hydraulic Shovel junker with no text on base. As I was comparing it to a couple of my other models with the text I noticed the the front axle had gussets rather than a brace supporting the front wheels.

I think that I read somewhere that the variation with no text could have gussets or brace.

Could someone please verify that statement as true or false.

Just checked mine, and it has the brace, so there's your answer.
