went for cheap...wish i had a few extra thou for this...might be the only chance for getting one affordably

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Watched it, but still too high for my budget --- Went for a little over $1200 USD and had playwear plus missing bottom part of grey hook.
I guess fairly reasonable in this day and age assuming it was original..............

Wouldn't it be nice to own one of these. Even though it was cheap, it's too much fun money for me. I'll keep dreaming that I'll uncover one at the local boot sale :lol:

The one that sold on Ebay a few years back for around $7000 was found in an antique shop in Lexington, NC which is not very far from me. I went through there about a month prior to the find but as usual came back empty handed. The gem was listed along with the entire lot it was found in on ebay but was informed by someone of the value. The auction was cancelled and the wrecker was listed separately which achieved that tidy sum. They are out there I guess, you just need to keep up the hunt. I did of course partake in the bbq for which Lexington is famous for.....
