I have a Leyland but its numbered k4, it has a winder on the front to tip the body (no tipping rams). Not sure but I think it came in a track set.
looking at your photo I have realised why it has the cut out bits in the chassis.

Your model is the Big MX version of the earlier K4 tipper. It did indeed come in a set with a coal hopper, and there was an "activator gun" to operate the tipper via the front winder. I only have the lorry, not the set to go with it. I rather like the BIg MX range, but it seems to have been a flop. I guess the price for the sets would have been pretty high compared to the normal Superkings range.
