A bit of everything.....
A bit of everything.....
I picked this lot up this week, should arrive in the morning. A mixed bag with a couple of Fun Ho trucks, Siku, Majorette, Corgi, Dinky, King Size, Major Packs and Regular Wheels. Single photo auction with not great clarity so here's hoping the majority are in good condition. Some play worn examples obvious but the majority look better than good and the presence of boxed models is usually a good sign that others have been looked after.
Will update with pics when I can. Little blue sports car in the centre is a mystery.....too small to be a Matchbox.
Cheers
Dave

Some nice Trucks in there and looking forward to seeing the Matchbox Horse transporter (middle left), the Corgi 'Chipperfields' crane (middle) and as soon as you can, check the underside of the Matchbox #30, 8 wheel crane (first model at the front of the table with the Orange jib), for a brace or NO BRACE above the rear axles, its the NO BRACE version we want you to find.

Is it made of plastic?RSSierra wrote:Little blue sports car in the centre is a mystery.....too small to be a Matchbox.
Looks a bit like a Wiking Jaguar E-Type.

Look like a great lot Dave.
The M9 Hendrickson freight trucks look like they may have all of their trailer doors plus you've got one set with blue doors and two different colors for the bogies.
The pipes for the K10 pipe truck are also usually missing from the un-boxed, loose models.
Nicely found! Enjoy.

Nice selection
Re: A bit of everything.....
Thanks for the comments. I think the punt on this lot paid off. Varied condition, but tending towards the better end of the scale.

Re: A bit of everything.....
King Size
Someone has attached an additional hook on one of the trailers to allow a Road Train to be made.
Transporter is just about mint
Unfortunately half the trailer suspension is missing
Close to mint Taylor Jumbo crane, slight label wear
Pipe Transporter - Pipes are not original but are cut painted steel tube. Very good substututes but heavy!
