Hi everyone
I can definitely see me adding some of the dinky range to my collection of diecasts in the near future, the more I look at them the more I like them, up till now my collection consists only of the Matchbox regular wheels and Superfast range...plus a small lot of husky.
Obviously I will have to go away for a while and do a bit of research on them as I must admit I wouldn't know where to start really, reading all your guy's posts are obviously helping alot, can anyone recommend the best place for me to learn more about them...reference sites etc.

Hi Mate,
Sorry for the late response.
If you want a good easy to use guidebook to the whole range you can't go wrong with "Dinky Toys and Modelled Minatures" by Mike and Sue Richardson. It's far more easy to use than the "Great Book of Dinky". What I like is that it's split into chapters like "Emergency Vehicles" and "Public Service Vehicles" so it's far far easier to see all the models together, and to find / identify those that don't come with a number.

Not dear either.
Cheers

Hi Chris
A very late thankyou for the info, I have only had the odd glance at the forum lately as I have been pouring all my spare cash into my other hobby...coin collecting, I am still going to start a dinky collection, infact I think it will be my first purchase once Christmas is out the way.
The book looks great by the way, I will probably purchase it so thanks for that.
Cheers Lee
