I have this 1963 price list. It's in UK currency. So it's not a Fred Bronner item. It has two staple marks or holes in the spine so was originally attached to something but I don't know what.
Logic would say it came out of the centre of a trade/dealer catalogue but there weren't any for the UK at this time. So what was it attached to ?
I've seen a couple of them like this but have know idea what they were in.

I wonder if it was inserted into the centre pages of the programme/guide for the 1963 Harrogate toy fair held from January 12th to 18th. Matchbox were certainly at this event as they showcased a model with opening doors!!

Or if it is a regular magazine size it may have been in a model/hobby magazine, I have something similar inside a trade hobby magazine.

Given this was detailed information for a retailer and not the general public it may have been stapled inside a folder complete with printed order forms sent to the retailers.
The retailer then posted the order forms back to the Lesney order department.
Thanks for showing this Steve, they often contain useful time line information.

Do we know if an example of the layered display stand exists anywhere in the world?

Steve, You can see the june 1963 UK trade catalogue here and the page with displays is slightly different. It also shows a ultra rare MAJOR PACK display which I know one to exist. I have that catalogue and found the display which is now in the save hands of another collector in my city.
See:
