If it's anything like most of the boxes in my house, either a cat or a cat-shaped space!

In this sub-forum "Lesney early large scale toys + Yesteryears", it must not be the G-3 and G-4 Transporter / Racing car gift sets as stated on the box

Nice selection in there. What's in the cardboard sleeve? Fluted tray is the least common of the Bakelite items, and the double pen stand for the Y2 Renault can be hard to find in good condition.
As Kev says, the plastic copies are of interest too.

Nice copies of the Opal and Mercer - not sure what the other one is supposed to be though. The gold Bentley is a hard one to find in good condition - nice lot Steve.

The plastic copies have been marketed by several 'Brand' companies and several non-branded through wholesalers etc. I show below the 'LJN' version of the 'Yesteryear' Y-4 Opel.

LJN Opel.
...and the cut-down model is the 'yesteryear' Y-3 Benz. Some of these are not fitted with the roof section making the car a bit harder to identify. Shown below is such an example from France sold as 'MUSEE AUTOS'.
