41C Ford GT red hubs

Post by BillF »

So I decided in light of all the fake rare discussion lately to pick up one I have wanted for quite some time. Purchased from a reputable dealer and I could not be happier.

Happy collecting!

minty! nice acquisition Bill!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Yes :D I took the refund money from the faked SPW Fairlane and purchased this beauty from Graham.

I trust very little dealers with rares after that and even though I payed top book for it I know for sure

1) Its genuine
2)It will truly be as close to C-10 condition as possible.

I am psyched to have it in my collection aside my yellow hub GT 40's

Happy Collecting!

Bill, you might like to know that when this model has the Yellow wheel rims, most of the time, the axle-ends are opposed, but when fitted with the Red wheel rims, most of the time they are matched, meaning both large 'Bosses' are on the same side of the car, how are your axles fitted?

Ghosthunter, I checked mine out when I got home tonight and your right all of my yellow hubs are opposite while the red hub model is matched. Pretty cool if you ask me. Here is a shot of the model and the right side with matched axles.
