roadmasters el camino

Post by fixer »

from the same source as the dodge dart patrol car these two el camino pick ups
the yellow one is the earlier edition and for me the best looker the only detail it lacks is an interior much like all the earlier range and i'm sure more learned members can fill in details as my knowledge of this range is very limited
apart from the interior being added there are several changes to the base and white tyres on a more detailed wheel

I am rather glad you have started on the larger models Reg, as they are rather special, almost attaining levels of detail as the Corgi and Dinky models and in some cases surpassing those models.

I was very impressed with these Two when you showed me them at Sandown and the Yellow example is just stunning, it is in fact a very rare version which goes to explain my never seeing one in the metal, let alone in hand so thank's very much for allowing me to handle it.

Another nice example Reg. This really is a good looking model, something I am sure the tool makers at Lone-Star were very proud of.

Another addition to the Camino line up
Described as red but I think it's more like an orangey red
Anyway a new colour for me
