Color No: 44 question...

I have a Matchbox no: 44, the RR Phantom.

But he is white !!!

I canot find anywhere this color but i also cannot find marks on the car

that it is a repaint??

Can somebody help me ??

Thank you Hans for the pictures. Without zooming into the last picture of the baseplate, it looks like the rivet has had some attention in the form of drilling. The baseplate clearly has had it's Black paint removed, so with these Two facts, I would say it has been repainted.

I only know of the single colour trial for this model and it is in dark Green, not aware of a White one.

It would be worth you having it repainted properly in a nice White colour, just to smarten it up, is that something you could do?

I am practice now on "simple" cars and maby later on this kind of cars
