From what I can see the SF#67 Volkswagon blister on the display in the last image features the SF model with the type F box featuring the RW model and no superfast script, unless I am mistaken.

Motorman you might want to cast your eye lower down and to the right bottom line of that last display stand with an even older box in the blister pack with the MB14 Iso Griffo.

Hi All, there is an episode of Minder(TV series) where Terry is looking after an Indian man in his shop, some thugs come in threatening the shop owner, as they start to fight you can see a complete stand of plaster packs. I think the series dates back to the 80s. Were they still available then Pete.

I see it Steve, boy oh boy what I would give to be able to go back in time. It is interesting to see these blister packs in this image being proof that these odd combinations of box and model existed on retailers displays.

If this is a picture out of a Dealer Catalogue such as Fred Bronner featured in his American Dealer literature, there may only have been a sample or two of these mixed box and model types specially done to take this picture. Whatever was on hand "In House" that day may have been inserted into a new blister to take that picture. From our experience in viewing thousands of these in the U.S. during the changeover period from RW to SF, Bronner's SF Blisters NEVER contained any older RW boxes, just the earliest SF style appropriate to them.
It could be possible that in England the frugal Lesney Company used up a supply of leftover RW boxes within blisters on your side, these two are certainly a feast for viewing and dreaming about today. Thanks for both these display pictures, and also to Motorman's sharp eyes on this one. kwakers
