Nice find, Roland. I love this transporter. Just got my all yellow one last week. Only one I had missing. Now all the searches will be for Guy Warrior variations. Like that elusive all turquoise variant.

Have you got the M8b cab/K8a trailer and K8a cab/M8 btrailer crossovers?

Alas, no crossovers as yet. Just have my color/BPW-GPW combos. So more models to continue turning over. The hunt goes on. In checking my models, I noticed that most have a red/orange suspension spring on the trailer axle but one has a white suspension spring and I didn't realize it. I learn something new every day.

Congrats Roland
I think these cross color variations are rather neat looking. I'm still looking for that one.
I do have an unsual K-11 transporter with cross colors that I recently acquired. Quite pleased to have it and hoping someone finds another so that the variation can be confirmed.

Hugh, I know that the inscription on the base of the cab was changed from M8 to K8, but what was the difference on the trailers? Was it the decals?

The trailer also carries the model designation underneath. This can either read 'MAJOR PACK No 8' or 'KING SIZE K-8' on a raised boss covering the original text. (Interestingly, whilst checking mine, I notice that a line reading "MATCHBOX" SERIES has appeared above the King Size text. Was this added when the model became a King Size, or are there two versions of the Major Pack trailer base text?)

Thanks Hugh, I see from looking at some photos how that trailer is marked as you mentioned. It appears that the "Matchbox Series" text was an addition when the model changed to the King Size range, but could be something to look out for on the earlier Major Packs. Seek and ye shall find as they say.

I have one of these colour combinations but I have a question: how come they ended up with more green cabs than they had trailers to fit them on? Did some idiot order 40,000 green cabs to go with 39,689 orange trailers? (Numbers are for illustrative purposes only).

You probably need to go back a step given this was a carryover from a major pack and mismatching of components would occur there. Some trailers would have been used for testing, others for colour trials and others simply get damaged during the assembly process and get rejected.
