Job lot

Took a leaf out of Jason and Dave's book and bought a job lot with the cash I got for my birthday from daughter & wife.
Result!
27 models in the lot, 7 for the cabinets and plenty of mint boxes to upgrade some of mine. Enough spares to sell on too.
Also a couple of gifts from fellow collectors have now arrived.
Both of the above are the first examples of the type to arrive in the cabinets, so very pleased with these.

Well done Bob, some nice little birthday presents, great rare colour Crossley canopy. I 'd love to scrutinize the Y-6 'Fire Engine' and Y-7 1912 Rolls-Royce in more detail...

I'll have a look in the spares boxes, and bring any Rollers to Sandown.

Colour trial canopy, but the casting with the 5 cleats along the side is far rarer on full production models. The middle three were deleted almost immediately to allow the RAF roundels to be applied. As they are stuck on, the cleats prevented proper adhesion. Later on the same problem occurred with the coal truck version. This example with the two cleats from the RAF model still in place, arrived with the Coal & Coke labels loose in the box.
The cleats were removed after a very short time for this reason.
