To the best of my knowledge, this site contains the only variation tables for all of Lesney’s pre-Matchbox Toys: http://www.matchboxmemories.com/Early%2 ... 20Toys.htm. The layout is crystal clear and the contents appear to be comprehensive.
It also has the advantage of providing guidance on which colours/colour combinations are rare.

Very good read, no mention of the Brown Bulldozer that I found a couple of years back and sold to Hans and Marco ? It is on there website if you want to add Mick. It was most defiantly original and found at a boot sale just north of London.
