My Collection

When I started collecting one of the things I had in mind was to use dioramas/garages etc to display my models. I have nothing against display cabinets and shelves but they are a total non-starter in my home and I've always admired the scenery side of model railways so I thought I'd give it a bash. Having finally got around to doing more than thinking I'm really enjoying it and learning all the time - skill levels are definitely still at 'starter'.
I've already shown my first Crescent garage, and this is my second, built with balsa wood on an A4 sized piece of plywood again. Not based on a real toy garage this time, I made it up as I went along and looking at it I can see things I'll be changing next time. It's not complete (is any collection ever) but there's a decent selection of 1940s Crescent and DCMT/Crescent items. The Tootsietoy on the roof is there to fill a gap until I get another Crescent racing car. Both the Tootsietoy and the Crescent car at the pumps are repaints, something else I need more practise with.
