Looking for a Superfast website

I was lucky in the last weeks with bidding on nice items, but i spent way to much. Now i want to sell some of the superfasts, which i bought to get missing transitionals. Is there a website like Nicks with variations and some hints on rarer versions?
The range is from "Made in England" to Macao/Thailand

Thx Ghosty, i´ve been there, but i can´t find or recognize a system for models after the Lesney times. Is there one or do i have to scroll the whole list to find a model?

Hi Roland, most websites for SF concentrate on the England based models which ended in 1982, although some went over into 1983. After that, the sheer volume of models with Macau, Thailand and China bases is too vast for most to contemplate cataloging. If you want any help with anything then I am happy to try and advise as best I can.
All the best
Rob

Thx for your offer, Rob, but this would be asked to much, because in the next weeks i will sell more than 10 kg of unboxed Matchbox SF
I guess, i will start with the models up to 1982 to get a feeling for the whole thing. After that it should be easier to find out about the later ones as they are not so much.

Now i found a way to check Christians Website without scrolling my mouse to death - google chrome search!
Open the website you want to search with google chrome. On top right there are three horizontal lines (menue). There you can open the search on the website. To check a model, you just have to search for the name. In case of several similar results it shows two up and down arrows next to the search window. With them you can examine the finds one by one.

My website contains a section on post-Lesney (pre-Mattel) stuff, but it is still far from complete, and I fear it will remain so for many years to come. The index page you probably looked for is this one:
http://www.cfalkensteiner.com/Matchbox/ ... IIndex.htm
Of course you can use any browser's search functions to look for models on any of my index pages.
Besides, I am sorry to say I do not offer any advice on rarity, let alone prices on my website, and I am not aware of any other website which does either (for post-Lesney models that is). HobbyDB aims at becoming such a website someday, but how long it will take to become useful (if ever) is anybody's guess.
Apart from checking past auctions on the usual auction websites, I am afraid the only resource I can think of to recommend are Charlie Mack's books. The prices specified in those books are far from realistic and also do not take into account many of the minor variations (which are ignored by many but sought after by some collectors), but they are good enough to give you an idea of relative rarity between the variations listed.
Side note: post-Lesney Matchbox Miniatures models are generally not called Superfast, as the Superfast name in its original incarnation was phased out in 1980.
