Where to get Motorway spare parts?

Post by Miller »

I got another motorway set for 6,05 Euro plus 10 Euro shipping Image

It seems, that only the springs are missing and aerything else is there. Does someone know a source to get the springs?

Unused spare springs crop up on Ebay fairly regularly.
Don't forget to physically separate the controller leads from the polystyrene if you want the latter to remain intact and not melt.

motorway in orange plastic...ive only seen them in grey plastic...is the orange harder to find or just as common as i havent been paying these much attention
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Never seen that orange track before - interesting.
Had a look at the video that featured it.

Check out the next suggested video up here

I read that one of the problems with the springs was that they stretched if overloaded with vehicles - guessing that the vehicles in this video are plastic hence not a problem.

The orange track came out in 1971 and continued up until the series finished in 1974.
It is quite common.
