A couple of new finds

Bought a few vehicles a little while ago. Couple of surprises in there. Black Wheeled #75 a couple chips but pretty nice overall. And the #71 is the error version of the truck with the larger 11x45 rear wheels and the smaller 10x36 front wheels. How common is this error? The #27 has the GPW and Black base. Thanks for looking.

Wheel errors on their own are quite common across the range as different models are made side by side on the same production flow line and there is always a chance of a couple of models being fitted with wrong wheels during a change of shift of the workers, as the hoppers are refilled for this next shift.

Yes, very nice. Black wheels suit the T'Bird and the Caddy looks brand new.

Hi Mate,
I sold my BPW T,bird along with a few others, years ago when I needed the money, it's top of my "must get one back" list now.
That one's really sweet.

Thank you for the comments. The T-bird has a couple of chips you can see in pic otherwise its clean. I paid $50 for it thought it was a good price.

in my experience these are near impossible to find without any chips $50 seems good value to me

There are a few models from the range that seem to chip easily. Are we aware of any outsourcing by Lesney to other companies to keep up with the demand for the models and did those companies use a different paint supplier or did they not bake the finish to the same standards as Lesney?
