Saw this nice R107 SL recently; they have become a somewhat rare sight in the last years. Thankfully this one has remained in its original state, without ugly tuning parts.
Not the best Matchbox model, I have to say. The round wheel arches and much taller grille - as a child I didn't recognize the Matchbox as the same SL generation as the 1:43 Corgi and 1:66 Schuco SL's I also had. I thought it was an older SL generation. (No, I didn't know then that there was no SL generation between the Pagoda and the 107.)
Majorette also made a better version of the R107 - they were able to keep the rear wheel arch lower, despite the wide wheels.
