Dinky Toys made in GB or France we know about.
But for some reason its taboo when mentioning Hong Kong.
surprisingly these 6 models that were produced are extremely sought after.
I added my first one to the collection.
it was not cheap, but not overly expensive neither - and it comes with the original box.

£200 for that particular example with it's extremely good original box is about right, depending on when you brought it. An unboxed example in near mint condition went for for $175 in the US during 2013.

Very nice example. The Hong Kong Buick as well as number 57/003 Chevy Impala are high on my wants list but hard to find in good condition at a reasonable price.
Thanks for sharing,
Bill

Your Riviera is stunning. Excellent condition and with box - WOW!!!
I am very jealous.
I have all 6 but all play worn and no boxes as per picture.
Ghosthunter also provided great detailed info on another Forum we visit. I was able to obtain two of the models there

'Playworn' but still very presentable, nice collection to have.

Hi all,
Very nice example, these are not easy to get in really good condition, and that box is superb.
I still wish Triang had issued these as Spot Ons. Dinky went back to HK production at the end of course, but the results were pretty poor.
Cheers
