DO NOT USE GSP

The nightmare known as Global Service Provider, they only use one courier company called PBI (Pitney Bowes Inc).
In january had won 3 lots of Scorpion tanks, two of those lots were a Palitoys Action Man, the other lot was smaller by HM Armed Forces.
one other parcel with a jet, a tank and a quad went with Parcel2Go for a very reasonable price.
The other three lots arrived at the depot.
They said they were oversized - clearly passed ok from the sellers.
then gave both me and the sellers a full refund.
That is called a bribe.
GSP did not return the tanks to the seller.
that does not compute.
with a roundabout way - because there is no direct way to contact ebay, let them know that they are initiating postal fraud.
they replied they were going to thoroughly investigate.
three hours later they were satisfied that all parties concerned were paid to 'cover up' the problem.
and it is indeed a cover up as the 'oversized' items were still not returned.
Millions of ppl are being ripped off by eBay sticking with the thieving GSP.
and as they are a greedy corporate entity we are letting them get away with it.
The three Scorpion tanks were for a good friend who just happens to be a Criminal investigator Detective in the NZ Police.
What GSP has done is stolen from a high ranking Policeman.

Ebay / Paypal are bloody hopeless. They are nigh on impossible to contact personally instead they just churn out endless pre programmed questions and answers which are never relevant to what you really want to say. they rip you off with a FVF which now includes a percentage of the postal cost ( what the crap this has to do with them I will never know as postage cost is between the buyer & seller, not them, which I am sure must be illegal somewhere ) even bloody Paypal takes a cut now when you get paid as a seller ! Small cost items are just not worth selling there anymore.
All in all I hardly do any sort of business with them now as they basically just want all sellers to pay for owning a store, the good old mum & dad days of selling your unwanted stuff are well and truly gone. They have bitten off the hands that made them into a global company and their motto now is plain greed.

I buy quite a few models from the USA and the GSP inflates postage to me in Canada by charging for priority mail which is the same level of service as standard 1st Class. Also, the add unsubstantiated duty fees for Canada Customs. I never pay these duty fees when sellers just mail direct to me. A while ago I simply started asking sellers to quote postage direct and not via GSP. If they wont, I simply don't buy/bid. I will not buy from a seller who use GSP

being in the US and seller in canada (they have a few rights ) to not be scammed into extras however canada post is $8-15 for 1-2 car but 4-20+ is $16 +-
I had 2 good sellers from canada but the epay bs 1 win 1 ship or BIN with instant ship $$, so had to quit.
here in the US it is so bad 90% of shipping is extorted into add ons and many sellers live off the epay quote then use cut rate plan
also general US post has been inflated to epay quotes depends on whom you are where you are and the day of the week $$ is substantially different best rate is not available for walk ins , use online .non priority is very hard to buy online(best rate)
bought 75 cars last week seller left epay handle the whole deal 12 x 18 x 24 box 20# 2 day priority which actually did arrive
$22 ,next day got 12 cars 8 x 8x 12 box 5# 1 week delivery $21
would like to buy from australia but all the quotes are $25 for 1 car

As has been discussed here before, most Sellers are unaware of the shipping costs through the GSP and can opt out if they wish. There is still a choice of shipping methods with all my regular U.S. Sellers, so just spread the word about your high cost experiences with Sellers using GSP and the audience they miss by using that overpriced program exclusively.
I HAVE to buy on E Bay, it is where the cream of the older rares are sold today when huge collections are broken up. Waiting another 40 years to find some of my old "Wants" may not be an option for me,
Paying $10 to ship a model may be better than waiting MANY years to find another Rare version like it. I sometimes pay these higher rates without an arguement for fear the Seller may have second thoughts on selling that rare model to me.......Dick

I think this is a very good point that Dick makes. Usually top quality rare items only become available if collections have or are being sold. To be able to buy such items from the comfort of ones own home is surely worth paying for.

Paying $10 for 1 quality needed car from canada /Uk would is acceptable, but $10 from the next US town, $15 from the next region, $25-35 from rest of the world + all the add on's is extrotion
go to the market for food, check out/pay ,now pay a fee to your govt, then there is a fee to get out the door now add a fee to leave the car park. if everyone one pays because it is easy,it just continues to $$$
How can post for 10 cars be $1 less than post for 75 cars on the identical services?
