Clearing out some regular wheels.

Post by misterpop »

Been a bit slack on the Ebay front recently so thought I would try and boost the pension with a nice batch of older stuff.A good mixture I think and as usual when listing on a ten day auction theres a bid straight away at minimum and now I expect a week of no action then a snipe bid that takes the lot at the end of sale..But hey ho worth a gamble I think with these ...

I would bid on the lot but the Global Shipping Program keeps me from doing so. Remember, the shipping cost listed is an estimate and the exact Global shipping cost is determined after the hammer drops and the buyer is locked into a contract to buy. :(
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I wonder if Ian knows that he has signed up to GSP. Am I right in assuming that sellers need to opt out in their listings and may not actually be aware that they have been included in this rip off system?

I was also unaware that UK sellers are now involved with GSP I thought it was exclusively USA sellers.

Yes, if you haven't consciously opted out, you're in.

Good grief.........Slaps self in face with a wet fish..Thank you all for looking out for not only yourselves but also your fellow collectors best interests...On this listing I have now{and not without a lot of arseing about] canceled all bids and taken down the listing..I have opted out of the global noncence and relisted so normal folk can get a bid on and not be ripped off ...It says it may not come into force for 72 hours[72 hours?]Jeeesss.......Well lets hope it has done and alls well...Lets see what the post would be to the States on this one.....Well if I can keep the weight down to 1750grms we are looking at £24 signed for....How dos this tally with there Global buisiness?.........Is it a lot cheaper .I dont know as I didnt see the postage rate on the listing before...Cheers.-----Plus a saving could be made as I dont think many people would want a plastic organizer box and a lot of wood..Let me know.....Ian.
