Here another one : lotus grey color. Paint is not removable with your nails, 100% exact as it should be.

There is a pale metallic pink version of this model and this could therefore be an extremely pale example of that.

Is this possibly a production model with it silver primer and no top coat?

Presuming there's no sign of pink underneath, silver primer was my first thought. In production, were the doors painted separately on this model or were they in-situ?

The slightly rougher looking texture to the paint points towards this being a model with the primer coat only. However again you would need to see this in the hand to be sure.

Compared my model with a grey model and I think it's a very very light mauve model, almost grey.

I have seen several like this and if I remember correctly it has been discussed before on the forum. My opinion from the others that I have seen is that this variation is genuine and due to a faint paint mix resulting in, as Kurt says, a very light mauve which when seen in good daylight in hand is evident.

Other models from this time can also be found with similar faint paint mixes, such as 67a VW1600TL and 75b Alfa Carabo. Others such as 8b Wildcat Mustang can be found with darker upper bodies and lighter lower bodies on the same model, with perfect labels, again due to different paint mixes in the sprayers.
